Yeah, 'tis me (less confusing for all and me). Looking back at the graphs, Dave also mentioned fitting a dump pipe in there at the same time as the TMIC, so that on it's own will contribute significantly to the airflow behind the turbo and hence torque peaks.

Ultimately Torque is the gradient of the Power line, if power line is 45' downward, torque is flat. While power is rising, so is torque (the push in the back feeling). All the TMIC will do is allow the engine to get the air at the ambient temp each time regardless of intake temp and perform consitently.

The only other benefits will be faster throttle response (i.e.: better airflow through TMIC) leading to quicker spool up (felt as torque/response) and less pressure drop (i.e.: lost boost) across the core but a reflash will really balance that out all things being otherwise similar.

An intercooler doesn't produce power, it just stops your car being robbed of the power it COULD produce if intake conditions were ideal.
