definitely sounds like key-in switch issue as stated above. Don't go spending money getting your alarm disabled. Also as stated for the sake of a $13 dollar part (the patch harness) which takes minutes to install. If the key warning light doesn't go out the its definitely the patch harness needed. otherwise if you enter the code, the keypad lights go off as they should and still no crank, its probably the main module. Really any dealership should be able to diagnose this, even if its just by swapping out known working modules.
EDIT: All dealerships should have alarm parts (both modules, harness's, keypads, etc) in stock. I'd be very suprised if they didn't
