They don't have to be reset, the control module does a system check every time the ignition is turned on, that why the light stays on for 7 sec's then goes off if there's no faults. If there was a fault and it was repaired the code does need to be cleared as it will be stored in memory but the light will go out. If the roll connectors broken the horn usually won't work, easy way to test. It is possible that it was broken when the wheel was replaced. But it is easier to get the fault code out otherwise you can waste a bit of time.
