The KU36's aren't a bad street tyre IMO. I've done a bit over 9k kms on mine (235/40/18). I've done a barbs track night, Collie track day, two RAC tuning arvo's and a skid pan day with them as well. The first few times I heated them up they got a bit 'slimy' but gradually got better. How ever now they have done a fair few heat cycles they are a bit hard and don't grip as well as they used to cold.
With how I have used them it has made the 'peak grip window' kind of short, but I would buy them again if they were offered to me at a good price. I plan on giving the AD08's a shot next, and by what the majority are saying they should be a step up so I'm looking forward to it.
