There are 2 different sized pipes just between the GC8s that I know off.
Best bet would be to replace the compressor with one that suits the car.
ps, pretty sure I may have the right one here if your GC8 is 98 - 00.

its a MY98 GC8. The low pressure side pipe has been changed by the previous owner from the A/C repairer that worked on it. Anyone know of a autosparky that can make up the hose?
