If it does happen, it's in one of the fastest developing/expanding areas in Australia isn't it?
It's surely only a matter of (not a lot) of time before the facility is surrounded by houses, then watch the noise complaints et al start up. Can't see it happening myself, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

I live across the road (literally) from what was Claremont Speedway. It was a tradgedy when it was closed. I sorely miss it (not that it was noise complaints that killed it).
