depends on what tyres you are running. consult your local tyre centre.

first pump in over a year? thats not good. if you running normal air in your tyres you should loose pressure reasonably quickly. you should be pumping up every fortnight, well at least checking pressure.

if you run nitrogen inflation it is reccomended that you check pressure every 3 months.
