just thought id post a resolution here if anyone is interested.
got a new hydraulic hose made up by enzed on the spot. $41.00 then installed it and had a little bit of trouble bleeding .
pumped clutch lots of times and then undid nipple etc, but clutch didnt seem to be getting any better as pedal was still sticking to the floor.
anyways after a google others had found that taking the slave cylinder off and bleeding helped as the air could get trapped as the nipple points down.
so i did this and clutch was instantly better. couple more bleeds and she's all sweet
