Couldn't have said it better myself.

Each car the dealership has on the floor costs them to have it sitting there. Each day the car costs them more interest. The older the car, the harder it is to sell.
If you walked in to buy a brand new STi & knew it was built 6months ago (1-2months to build & send from Japan, plus 4 months on the showroom floor) & u could wait 2 months for one that will be only 2 months old. You would wait. Why have a 2010 built STi if you could wait a couple of months for a 2011 built one?
