Started doing a degree in chemistry, worked part time at Hungry Jacks & construction work whenever I could pick it up. Also did casual work for a construction estimating company.

Fell into construction. Dropped out of uni.
Got a two week casual job in a planning department which turned into four years.
That was 21 years ago. Have worked in every role now from labourer to Managing Director, from TA to Project Manager.

Don't be afraid to extend yourself, put in the work required to do a harder job & you will reap the rewards for it.
