Dont bother with the IT ,its a never ending treadmill and at the end of the day. It's all out of date!!!
If anybody needs their DOS 6, Windows 3.1 win 95, win NT or Novell 3.11 fixed up let me know!!! HA HA

Seriously though my manager kept nagging me about this shit but wouldnt cough up any cash. the courses are expensive and if you are not working with CISCO Equipment and performing the configs and managing the networks then it is very hard to convert the theory into practical. Hence the reason that a lot of people now ask for the certification and experience when listing networking / router admin jobs.

The guys that I worked with who went on to do routers etc found their jobs going overseas as the company restructured, India etc.

IT can be fun but you could do better with a brickies trowel in Perth!!
