I agree 05 STI's shouldn't be $40k still, like V6 STI's shouldn't be $25-30k, but sad thing is, they are, and they sell for this price, so technically, if that is the price they sell at, that is the market price, despite what redbook says.

You can get an almost 500hp GC8 WRX with a built motor and 6speed etc for $30k off these forums. Go buy that if you want something built with power.
