Other than that, yes, Sierra's aren't bad I suppose. Especially with a beefy SAS setup from a old Hilux welded in.

If I were to fork out around 50k on a 4WD I'd be getting a VERY old Defender or a Stage1 Series III Land Rover. Rebuilding with stronger drivetrain and then dropping a Mercedes OM617 turbo diesel motor. The most reliable turbo diesel ever made and perfect for offroading.

...and then you'd have the most practical, unstoppable and reliable 4WD you can find...that can carry shit loads, can be hosed out and has a bit of classic adventure prestige behind it
