Correct. A proper American Bulldog is massive. Way bigger than a pitbull.

$100 says most people would not actually recognise a pitbull if it bit them on the ass (literally).

Dont even get me started on this..... Dangerous dog act gets me furious, as an owner of a bull breed you generally cop a lot of flack from ignorant or scared people....

Unfortunately, it is shit like this that will one day see Staffys tarred with the Dangerous Dog Act brush.

Problem is a lot of Pitbull X owners are also claiming they are "staffy x" to circumvent the issues associated with owning / breeding pitbulls....
My mistake BUT I have seen a PitBull Terrier in real life in Australia - the clipped ears are what made me think it was one. American Staffy's are not Pit Bulls but they are classed as a similar breed.

I am with you on the dangerous dog act!!! Alaskan Malamutes have been classed as dangerous previously and most responsible owned Mals are a long way from being dangerous, unfortunately they are very strong and have a powerful bit so if shit goes badly and the retaliate it normally doesn't end well.
