I then went to telstra, signed up with them - the 79 cap is decent value!
Went home, sync itunes to the new phone, wiped the old one, done. Have had reception ever since.

That is exactly what I am doing TJ only I have not posted back thye handset yet. They were stupid enough to give me and the wife 4 months free usage before I did my TIO complaint so we will use that up first before saying get f...... vodafail.
