When I originally had a cunt of a time over xmas when they were upgrading I called VF and asked to be put through to the "Loyalty Team".
I basically told them I was extremely disapointed at not being able to make or receive calls as it kept cutting out and I couldn't even use 1GB of my 2GB plan and I wasn't happy paying for it if I couldn't use it and would cancel my contract and go elsewhere (also mentioned the hundreds of other people who contacted the TIO and got out of contracts).
They gave me $10 a month of my contract for 6mths plus another and an extra GB of data for the same amount of time.
Was very easy and simple and was off the phone in under 30mins.
Alot better than speaking to random call centre people like I had done before.
Being with them for 10+ years for you Dan should help.
