If its last service was at 16000k's that means even the 12500/6month service wasn't done on time, it also means that the car has most likely only been serviced once in its whole life......and once in 4 years

seriously, if I was spending 16k or more on a car, any car, I would want to be sure it wasn't going to drop its guts.

Whats the point of saving the cost of getting it up to scratch on the purchase price, if you have to spend the money getting it up to date again once you've bought it, your still spending the money aren't you?
Might as well get one thats been looked after for a little bit more initial outlay.
