Just because a coolant is green doesn't mean squat! there are currently 5 different chemical combinations that are green..... And only two work well with alloy.
Use a quality ethylene glycol coolant if you don't want to buy genuine, but genuine is the best for the long term.

But if it has been flushed does it matter? It's all the same stuff in the one cooling system so it won't be interacting with a different type.
