Unless you get a dry type like an apexi. Without tuning there is not much if any performance gain, sounds good however.
In regards to having other mods without tune etc, so far i have a
TBE, pod, larger TMIC and it runs fine. Yes i did lose a bit of bottom end but the middle to top end has defenetly opened up. It revs much more freely.
In time, my silicone intake will go on, followed by when i find a turbo. I will see how that goes without a tune and then finally tune it.
I have had no trouble with the car running rich, in fact the car gets a little more K's now with my mods. Only thing i found to make my car run rich was the hks
bov (obviously because of no tune) Average i get 500 a tank and 540 if pushing.
