After finding out that the engine may have been lazy on a cylinder (turns out 2 of the pistons were pretty rooted), decided to get the (inevitable :P) strip and repair, with these mods (further to the Butler TBE and fuel pump):

Cosworth forged pistons and rings
Cosworth big end and main bearings
Cosworth head gaskets
STI gasket and seal kit
STI timing belt, and tensioner
STI water pump
ARP head stud kit
Platinum spark plugs
Clutch plate


Got the work done at ASG, and with the Verso tune done it's making 252 BHP and 390NM ATW.

Suffice to say, I'm pretty chuffed with it, loving the improved drivability and mid-range punch.
