You're still prioritising serving customers before a lunch break, where you're only hurting yourself for the rest of the day because of lack of food or fatigue. What I'm saying is, if you take a break, you'll be able to serve customers better in the afternoon. If the phones go all day non-stop then they're all still going to be there when you get back.
Don't think by not taking a break makes you look better, if you don't them they expect you to not take it all the time.
Its upto you, I don't know your field of work. But its a pretty simple solution, if you want your lunch, just walk out for it.
