Is your alarm one that came with the unit or did it link up to one you already had in the car?

Thanks

Good question on the warranty. I have not had any problems with it so
far, except during installation and the guys at Ashley Electrical were
very helpful. It would be a good question to ask the seller before buying.

I already had an alarm in the car, but by chance it was one that Ashley
Electrical had supplied. They told me which wire to run from the alarm.
Should be easy for any alarm anyway. Just need to find a wire which
switches when the alarm goes off. Either always +ve and goes -ve in alarm
or always -ve and goes +ve in alarm. Either will do coz you can use
a changeover relay to connect it to the EziTrack.

Because I already had an alarm, I turned off many things on the EziTrack
coz it would double up with the alarm.

Be Careful: Although the EziTrack does have "intruder detection" like an
alarm, you can only turn it on/off via a phone. So no beep-beep remote.
Far better to integrate with existing alarm, and get alarm to do all the
monitoring and the EziTrack to ring you if the alarm goes off.
