I purchased this turbo in 2009 with 16k km and I had the exhaust housing ceramic coated at CIC. The turbo has done a further 20k km on my car and is in perfect working condition. This turbo made 329hp and 460Nm on my 06 STi at 1.4bar(20psi) with stock TMIC, decapped injectors, exhaust and a CAI.
This is a great turbo for a 2.5L and is able to hold boost all the way to redline. A smaller exhaust housing (AVO3-4) can be purchased and used with this turbo to convert it to a AVO 400L which would suit 2L cars much more.
The turbo was recently removed from the car as my current fuel system will not support this turbo on E85, so I have put the stock one back in.
