Also keen for the SD card, but a question about the battery, and this stems from a battery I bought for my 7D, the copy manufacturers claimed that you needed their battery charger to prevent the battery from exploding when being charged, and not to use the original charger.

Canon also states that only genuine batteries can be charged in their chargers. Is this the same for the Gopro?

Does anyone out there run a china spec battery in their gopro and use the same charger?
