negotiate some free rent in exchange for being cooperative, i have to do things like this all the time to keep tenants onside and given that its very much in the owners interest for you to assist the agent its not usually an issue to arrange

it's very rare for things to be stolen at home opens, i'm not saying it doesn't happen and obviously some areas are better than others but applying some common sense (ie don't leave easily pocketable valuables lying around) goes a long way. last time i heard of it happening was in the rockingham area, and the lady had left her ipod and some jewellery sitting on a bedside table

the agent will get the names and contact numbers of people coming to view the home as he surely wants to follow them up after! given the current state of the market don't be surprised if its just the agent sitting around hoping someone will turn up at the open anyway hahaha
