The extent of centrelink handouts/benefits is getting beyond a joke.

Why do we pay for

• teenage mothers etc etc to breed? Why would they contribute to society when they can have most things handed to them on a plate from centrelink?
• foreigners/illegal immigrants to stay in our country?
• deadbeat criminals to stay in jail? Criminals aren't worried about going to jail. If they were, then they wouldn't commit the crimes. The only purpose jails serve is to keep criminals off the street; but it's at the expense of the rest of society! Jails are only a means to ensure the rest of society abides by the law; as everyone with half a brain wouldn't commit crime. Bring back the death penalty/cutting off limbs etc as punishment for crime, or put all the crims on an island (similar to England did with Australia in the early days ) and forget about them - surely this will solve society's problem?
