Round 5 of the WA State Rally Championship and Clubman Series is due to run on Saturday the 15th of October.
The rally is organised by the Light Car Club and sponsored by Carringtons Traffic Services. The forests around Mundaring will play host to the rally, with teams able to complete pace notes in the early morning before the competition starts.
8 Special stages (4 stages run twice) will give a competitive distance of approx 110km on the loose ball bearing gravel roads.
This will definitely be a rally to watch. The Outright state and 2WD championships only have a hand full of points separating the major contenders.
The organisers are also in need of some officials for the 2011 event. If you or anyone you know would like to help out on the rally or have an exclusive private spectator point in the forest, please get in touch with Ann Percival:
