It costs no more to tune a car with a restrictor than without. The restrictor in the subaru means the thing just wont rev. From memory the lights go out at about 5500 rpm.

Best bet is to go up to Race Torque when you get a chance and talk to Dave or Lane. Ledgers IPRA national championship car is basically a permanent fixture there. Lane will be able to tell you give or take how much power etc it makes.

I think the restrictor in that class works well. It takes away any incentive to run big turbos because you just cant get enough air into it.
