a large populace of the people in this thread give a stuff. and yes boys will be boys, but in doing so, this person has put other peoples lives in danger, not to mention his own, and as a professional player who has signed a contract with certain expectations to be met, he has failed well and truely.
They say players have too much riding on their shoulders, and are put on too high a level as role models, but the truth is, they well know this and get paid quite accordingly for being such a status symbol and a professional player for their talents.
