Hmm I think I have got the wrong machine. I have seen them used but they are usually built for car detailing and not random use like this one (though I have seen the PEX-400 used for swirl removal...so im a little confused).

That site Andrew gave me does have some buffing pads + backing plates for ro machines. Will keep searching.
