Update 1/12/2011:
Well it seems the bolt on turbo isnt actually bolt on in nearly every aspect. Surprise suprise!!!!!!!!
1) The compressor housing is much bigger than the old garret GT40R.
2) All of the lines from the coolant to oil are completely different sizes compared to the GT40R and will need to be remade and re-routed.
The compressor housing of the BW 8374 is much bigger than the GT40R due to the
BOV located in the compressor, so the radiator support bar and the U-brace have had to be knotched to accomodate housing.
We have even had to resort to changing the standard 12mm bolt that fixes the water pump to a hex cuphead bolt as room is so tight.
Lets hope this brilliant looking turbo actually performs as well as it looks.
