Added a front mount oil cooler to the STi for upcoming track work
After having a look at some of the overly complicated arrangements available from some of the big names we decided to engineer our own system thats very simple and very effective

Sandwich plate adapter we machined from a solid piece of aluminiun - and thankfully the Subaru piece is almost identical to one we had on file for our old VE Commodore development programs. Go figure!

The 19 row cooler is best mounted front and centre as shown so that it gets a big face-full of cooling air when the car is moving. A quick coat of black paint keeps it looking stealth!

Teflon stainless braided hoses with crimped 5000psi+ JIC fittings which are then fully coated in flame proofing transport the oil to and from the cooler. They have good air gap to the manifolds and sit nicely between the undertray and the sump.

Now to get out the track!
