i understand completely.... i just didnt think the engines get cut up like butter.... through evolvement in the history of the wex and technology...we are clearly no better off
i spose when my engine does blow its bottom end its a good excuse to get a new one :P

I think your missing the point of what Rossco is saying, the bolt on parts you're looking at will be capable of over 300whp easily. But the standard EJ255 internals wont be able to reliably handle the power, pistons are a known weak point.
You need to look at the whole picture, not just the add on parts. They only help the engine do its job.
