The issue I see is that the NBN rollout is so far behind for the 97% that spending $620M on the 3% when there are faster technologies availed now that should be cheaper to implement makes it a waste of tax payers money.

I for one am still on ADSL1 well below 8kbs and I'm in an a urban central area.
