Its a massive event. To put it into some sort of perspective Targa West is approx 200 competitive k's and from memory about 400 liasion over 4 days. Targa Tas is over 6 days, 604 competitive and and 1600 liasion. I worked out the fuel allowance we need the other day. Given we are running elf it is rather scary
Longest stage in Targa West is 22 km's. Targa Tas? Nearly 60km's! So full noise for nearly 30 minutes. The belting the car takes is epic. Imagine doing 30 laps non stop around barbagallo in a road car. Thing would disintegrate.
I think if you can stay on the road and somewhere near the front you will be so physically and mentally exhausted by the end of it. Christ the beer at the end is going to taste good!
