From what I can see the pitlane entrance road is after the turn from the back straight. In order to make the pit road you need the inside line and then immediately negotiate the entrance. This means you are likely slowing through traffic.
If you take the outside line you then need to cross over the through traffic to make the entrance.
Guess we find out on race day to see what actually happens.
Might make more sense to have the pit entry on the back straight before the turn.
