Read up some more as that is wrong.
Verso = Openecu software. MMS uses ECUTek software. The software allows the tuner to access the
ECU and change parameters. Both will be transparent to Subaru - they can go and read your
ecu, do all the normal things with no problems.
Where you are getting confused is once you buy into the ECUTek software, your
ECU is locked to their tuning software. Think of it like a different format on your computer.
