It's not so much old radios although I am getting nostalgic as I get older.

It's more that as an audio engineer I have always had a passion for valve "sounds". In the first recording studio I built there was an input module rack that included the original SSL valve inputs from a mixing desk used by Pink Floyd in the 60s. The EQ was fixed frequencies and increased/decreased in 5dB steps (very large) but the sound they created was so beautiful. Warm, full of life etc.

Luckily my mate has a specially built rack with four input modules from the same desk in Perth. He was smart enough to buy the "non working" modules and had them refurbished.

Please send me the photos - would enjoy a gander.
