Default The Blue GC.

so after been asked to start driveway thread by a few lads, i decided to have a go at it.
To start i own a wr blue gc as most of you know, and take a lot of pride it taking care of it as i have always wanted one.
The story goes like this. One of my mates owned the car a few years ago, and it was love at first sight, after pushing him to sell it to me, it ended up getting hail damaged and at that time he decided to get rid of it. Thanks to my dad who found out about the sell and secretly purchased the vehicle. ( The car was originally built by maximum for John Mortimum. Excuse MY SPELLING)
At this point the car was a complete mess both mechanically, interior wise and body was fcked. To make matters worse, it had been stickerd a few months ago and was now unregistered
The process of getting the car road worthy and registerd caused us grief, but all worked out thanks again to my dads hard work and his input.
After months of collecting parts and the vehicle sitting in storage for 6 months, we finally got cracking on it where the car was stripped bare where nothing was left on. Each and ever bolt, nut and anything else that could be removed of the shell was taken off.
Since the vehicle was hail damage, each and every panel was replaced including the roof skin as i didn't want any bog on the car. Once pannal and painted, my dad decided to have all the bolts, nuts, and all brackets (including the pins and shims on the callipers) were all nickel plated in the gold colour. All the running gear was all painted up in black with clear and the complete under neath, including engine bay and guards of the car were painted in wr blue with a clear over it to give it that shine. Engine and gear box were painted silver. basically the car was completely rebuilt from ground up.
Once the car was running, we turned our attention to the interior where every thing once again was changed and used the seats out of an 04 wrx.
The exterior was mint. brand new head lights and tail lights were put on while all moldings and rubbers were replaced as well. Big thanks to my dad.
In other words the whole car has been rebuilt. The reason for doing all this work was to show other people how we could transform any car and are able to do it again for anyone who would like on just like it or even better.
