I know what you mean coming from a 4WD also! The ride does gets a bit rough with the harder suspension but if you're keen on performance it's a no brainer in my opinion. Makes such a huge difference. The car will do corners twice as quick :P The stock '06STi gear is very soft even compared with my old Version 6 STi and add on top of that the extra weight. If you wanted to compare sometime you're welcome to come for a run in mine
