Ok so my car has no blow off valve at all, 2001 Bugeye WRX.
The last owner fitted a FMIC and decided that no
BOV was the better option.
It has a fantastic "Flutter" noise but in the long run I'm sure this isn't the best thing, heck Subaru fit one at the factory so surely it serves a purpose.
What should I get? I'm not interested in the noise at all, the stock
BOV on my GF8 was plenty. However I can't fit a stock valve on this one due to the lack of TMIC.
Opinions on the Turbosmart Kompact plum-back
BOV? Can pick them up for about $180 new.
Tried a HKS full ATMO. Was loud and stuffed up the idle of my car - also created back firing and the car used even more fuel.
