If all other connections external to the BOV are tight, pull the BOV apart and check the piston, make sure the seal around the piston is tight against the body and that there are no cracks or dirt or that the piston is loose. Tighten up the BOV spring, and you may need to add a small amount or grease to the piston sides to increase the integrity of the seal.
