Apparently the majority of the 200 BRZ are already "pre-ordered". Its a limited run so numbered vehicles etc. Other then the exclusivity, spring rate changes, and minor cosmetic differences internally and externally there isn't much difference with the 86 GTS. There are still a few avaliable in WA but the dealers want a deposit comittment and the pricing was "mid 40s". I was told it would be at least another year or two before they considered bringing any more BRZ in. There is only BRZ model and it is equivalent to the "Limited" US model I believe (which is the same as the GTS).

On the flip side Toyota dealers are taking pre-orders at an increasing rate. The waiting list is pushing out to October now and going back really quickly. The Red GTS 6MT is the training car going around to all the dealers. They will only get demos / cars on the 18th (official launch). Theres 2 levels, GT (29,990+ORC) and GTS(35490+ORC) with auto and manual versions.

Also gets larger brakes all round.
