I work for RAC, Not in the Insurance side of things (IT here) But yes you can opt for $0 Basic Excess & your Premium will begin to go up. Age Excess you can't avoid
However with my policy:
Car: 2007 Subaru WRX (Pignose/hawkeye)
Agreed Value: $32,000
Cost: $828 ($69 month Staff Discount) $0 Basic Excess ; $250 Age Excess
(23 here)
All mods covered & with any future ones I can just give my mate in Distribution a Call to Add them to my policy.
