The guys who went out to him said that there didn't even appear to be skid marks on the track at all, which would mean he completely misjudged the end of the straight and probably didn't brake until he was in the sand. Luckily he is not injured but the car was very badly twisted. I had a good look at the wreckage as it came past me on the truck. Rear end was twisted from the front on impact, so he hit it hard.
Burke, by premature, I mean 25 mins at the most. Was time for maybe another 3 more groups to go out. It was about 10:30ish
PS: Can't wait for lighting
