We negotiated everything ourselves but received input from friends and family like mortgage brokers, lawyers, accountants and just financially smart people, but at the end of the day you may want to speak to a family lawyer and get a separation form done and filled through family court!
Ps mine is a separation, wasn't married! Just assets and a puppy!!
