Who does that?
99% of dealers can't even tell if you've had the stock
ECU tuned. I don't know of any Subaru/Mitsubishi that stores rev limiter events either.
Certain cars like R35 GTR's do store more information, but that would be the minority.
The way I look at it is everyone would be happy to buy a 2nd hand car, but the word 'demo' scares them. In the performance car game, does anyone honestly think one would be driven less hard than the other?
Just like all 2nd hand cars, get it inspected if you are unsure.
