Firstly a big thanks to Doug, Damien and the team at STechnic.
The car received the 50,000km service as well as having the following parts installed.
- Whiteline Rear Diff Positive Power Kit
- Whiteline Gearbox Positive Shift Kit
- Kartboy Front Shifter Bushing
- Kartboy Rear Shifter Bushing
- STI Group N Transmission Mount
- STI Group N Pitch Stop Mount
- STI Group N Right Side Engine Mount
- STI Group N Left Side Engine Mount
Pros:
-play with the gear shifter is all but gone now, shifts are direct and precise
-gearbox doesn't seem to flex or move around as much as it used to
-rear diff feels firmer and doesn't clunk any more
-very little increase in NVH
Cons:
-with the gearbox being firmed up, you can hear the gears a bit, more so when decelerating (however I don't mind this)
Overall I'm very satisfied with the change and would do these modifications again if I had a new car.
