Many people have said that due to the heat it creates moisture around the pipe (under the wrap) which can lead to rust and other nasty stuff.

To the others, though I am also saving for a WRX later down the track, (I see where you're coming from) but as it's my first car which I've had for a couple of months now, I wanna have a bit of fun with it. Love the rumble and since it's already got a catback, whats the harm?
