Should be enough modded MY11's around here to give you ideas on what can be done or what should be done

Re: #3 A few people here have a Norm Butler performance exhaust equipped on their cars, (thought that Ultrex has one planned for the MY11 as well).

Re: #4, should have plenty of time to speak to the tuners available locally and then decide who gets your business. Details can be found here.

Re: #5 If coilovers don't suit, can always look at custom spring/strut combos.
I've done a search on norm butler performance exhausts and it does seem like a popular choice. Is the garage located (or where I can get the part from) in Carlisle?

im hoping to do all the engine performance mods (bar struts/springs/coilovers) at once and then at the same time get a tune at the end of it done. But I will have to see how my budget is at that time.

Also, no angel eyes. Gayer than a facial from Elton John. If you're going to fuck with the headlights at all paint the chrome bezels black. Or a coat of clear red to make it look evil.
Yeah I like that look too, white car, black/dark rims.

Hmm I never thought of painting the chrome bezels black before. might actually go with that as I saw another wrx has it in his topic and it looked really nice! Do you know what type of black/matte paint or maybe even if a DIY guide exists on how to do this would be great.

And welcome mate!

I like your plan 1 -4. I reckon you don't need coilovers unless you plan to hit the tracks often. Get sways instead as they are cheaper and more bang for your buck in terms of performance on the streets.
Its not in my plans to do track work (at least anytime soon). So i may just end up going with what you suggested. Thanks

I forgot to mention I had already installed the sti 5 speed wrx short shifter kit from subaru, along with the sti gear knob. Am I right in saying the brakes in my11 wrx's arent exactly of good quality?

Just a heads up, trying to get same tint shade on the front windows as the back privacy glass, will either a) get you a ticket, as it's illegal or b) a yellow sticker, or c) both. Good luck though.
I know, I guess its a risk im willing to take, I do love it though on extremely hot days to keep the cold aircon air inside.
